Jamie Pruitt, RN, BSN, joined the Mount Regis Center team in 2015. As the director of nursing at Mount Regis Center, she provides leadership and guidance to the nurses and technicians who ensure the comfort and safety of all patients, 24-hours-per-day and 7-days-per-week. In addition to maintaining a caring and professional environment, Ms. Pruitt serves as an advocate for each patient’s healthcare through medication administration, continuum of care monitoring and working with the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure the best possible outcome for each patient. Ms. Pruitt’s 20-year career experience includes four years as a unit manager for a state mental health facility, three years as the assistant director of behavioral health for an area medical center, and six years as a shift supervisor at a regional hospital. She graduated with an Associate of Science degree in nursing from Virginia Highlands College in 1995, a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from American Sentinel University in 2014 and is currently enrolled in an MBA program at American Sentinel University.
