Aftercare ProgramHelping clients maintain recovery after they leave treatment is an important goal at Mount Regis Center. Discharge planning is initiated upon admission to ensure the supportive environment necessary for recovery is in place upon discharge. Through ongoing communication with the family and/or a referring professional, the client experiences a smooth transition back to the home environment and workplace. This provides clients with strong support during the early period of their recovery. Aftercare meetings are conducted at Mount Regis Center on a weekly basis. Since clients are seen from all over the country, we've put together an extensive aftercare provider network making meetings available to those who reside in other states. These meetings are seen as an adjunct to and not a replacement for 12- step meetings which are an essential part of recovery. Please call us at 1-800-477-3447 to get specific information on our weekly meetings or our provider network meetings. Mount Regis Center is committed to exploring innovative ways for helping you maintain sobriety once you have discharged. One such way is the content rich website you are presently visiting. Mount Regis also takes part in live interactive chat forums cheduled throughout the year and are only accessible through this website. We encourage you to subscribe to receive e-mail updates for when these chats are scheduled. Online aftercare is an innovation we hope to soon be offering. Talk directly to your discharge planner or aftercare coordinator for more information about online aftercare support groups which would consist of private or group chats only for those who have gone through our program. Mount Regis Center has a very successful Alumni Program. Alumni groups
sponsor social activities throughout the year allowing former clients
the opportunity to stay in contact with each other. Subscribe today
for any or all of our e-mail lists which will keep you up to date on
Mount Regis Center's programs and happenings.
