Helping clients maintain recovery after they leave treatment is an important goal at Mount Regis Center. Discharge planning is initiated upon admission to ensure the supportive environment necessary for recovery is in place upon discharge. Through ongoing communication with the family and/or a referring professional, the client experiences a smooth transition back to the home environment and workplace. This provides clients with strong support during the early period of their recovery.

Aftercare meetings are conducted at Mount Regis Center on a weekly basis. Since clients are seen from all over the country, we've put together an extensive aftercare provider network making meetings available to those who reside in other states. These meetings are seen as an adjunct to and not a replacement for 12- step meetings which are an essential part of recovery.
