Michael Bolton comes to you with a little over 24 years in accounting and finance, 17 of those years in healthcare operational accounting and finance. His knowledge and experience base stems from banking, law, non-profit organizations, acute care, home health, child welfare, and behavioral health. Michael serves as an Adjunct Faculty Member in FAMU’s Division of Health Care Management in the School of Allied Health Sciences. Outside of his family and career, he serves as a board member officer of the Phoebus High School Alumni Association where funds are raised to help high school students with scholarship funding. In addition, he is an AAU assistant basketball coach, AAU senior karate instructor, and competitor (2-time World Champion, 2016 & 2018). Michael holds an associate degree in Business Economics, bachelor’s degree in Economics, a bachelor’s degree in Finance, and an MHA in Healthcare Operations. Michael’s philosophy on healthcare is derived from the acronym of C.A.R.E. (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence). He believes a commitment to patient care is not only the beginning of a foundation of community but also a continuation of perseverance in doing great things in healthcare.
