Veterans Affairs

Mount Regis Center is proud to provide behavioral health services for United States military veterans who are seeking substance use disorder care through the Department of Veterans Affairs Community Care Network.

What Is the Community Care Network?

In 2018, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Community Care Network (CCN) was established to provide a bridge between the VA and its providers, giving veterans easier access to the healthcare they need as quickly as possible.

The CCN thoroughly vets all providers linked to the VA to ensure the highest-quality treatment programs for veterans and their families.

The CCN is composed of six different regions across all U.S. states and territories, allowing veterans to receive care from VA facilities as well as authorized providers in their area.

The VA partnered with third-party administrators (TPAs) to develop and administer the regions, ensuring complete transparency and open communication. The VA gave contracts to TriWest Healthcare Alliance and Optum Public Sector Solutions to act as TPAs for certain regions.

Optum

Mount Regis Center is located in a region served by Optum Public Sector Solutions Inc., also known as Optum, which is part of UnitedHealth Group.

Since receiving a contract from the Department of Veterans Affairs in 2018, Optum has served as the TPA for Regions 1, 2, and 3 of the CCN. Included in these regions are the northeastern, southeastern, and central areas of the United States, as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Navigating the CCN

The Community Care Network was created to provide veterans with easier access to healthcare, but we understand that finding the right behavioral health services can still be overwhelming.

The team at Mount Regis Center is here to help veterans and family members navigate the CCN to find the right substance use disorder treatment program for them.

If you have any questions about receiving behavioral health services through the Veterans Affairs Community Care Network, please don’t hesitate to contact us. A member of our team will be available to speak with you and help you find the treatment you need.
