Brigette Funk, LPC

Director of Clinical Services

Brigette Funk, LPC, serves as the Clinical Director for Mount Regis Center in Salem, Virginia. She has an extensive background in behavioral health and her goal is to combine her strong clinical background with her passion for helping others, and to ensure those suffering with addiction have access to high quality treatment when they need it. Brigette earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (minor in Sociology and Mathematics) at Eastern Mennonite University.  During this time, she had the opportunity to study abroad in South Africa.  She went on to complete a Master of Arts in Counselor Education with Virginia Tech in 2011.  She completed her residency and became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in 2015and has become qualified, through the Virginia Board of Counseling, to supervise individuals pursuing their CSAC credential as well as Residents in Counseling. Brigette has extensive therapeutic and operational experience in the behavioral health field ranging from work in both impatient and outpatient settings with all age groups. She began her work with Mount Regis Center in May of 2021 as a therapist for their Blacksburg Intensive Outpatient Program. In August 2021, Brigette was promoted to the Clinical Director position where she has oversite of the entire clinical program at Mount Regis Center.
