Salem, Virginia’s Best Suboxone Detox Treatment Program

At Mount Regis Center, we offer a full-continuum of care including medical detox, inpatient, and outpatient. Our therapeutic approaches are designed to be flexible and individualized to meet our clients’ specific needs and treatment goals.

In addition to our traditional medically monitored inpatient drug and alcohol detoxification program at Mount Regis Center, we also provide a suboxone program for those young adults who are struggling with opioid dependence, including heroin and prescription painkillers. During this program each patient is gradually weaned off the drug while the effects associated with opioid withdrawal are minimized. Each patient is closely monitored throughout the duration of this process in order to ensure safety and be able to adjust the dosage as necessary.

We use this approach to opioid detox in order to help patients stay more engaged during the treatment process as well as have a more comfortable withdrawal experience. Additionally, this form of treatment lets the treatment staff work more easily with the patients and get them started on the path to recovery from the very beginning of treatment.

Suboxone assisted detoxification treatments are generally initiated on Mondays through Thursdays.

Some of the most commonly abused opioids include:

  • Heroin
  • OxyContin
  • Oxycodone
  • Codeine
  • Percocet
  • Demerol
  • Vicodin
  • Lortab
  • Fentanyl

It was time for me to go to Treatment. I had tried everything and I just couldn't stop drinking. Mt. Regis was what I needed. A safe place with excellent counselors and a rigorous program. This place works if you work it. I received a great deal of information about my problem and solid support to begin a plan of action. I hope to stay involved there and give back
